Brad is 2015 APRIA Super Pro Champion

APIRA Super Pro Champion 2015

We arrived at Shakespeare County Raceway near Stratford upon Avon for the holiday weekends final round of the Avon Park International Racers Association’s Open Sports National Finals .

Saturday was a great sunny day, The first run in Q1 found Brad in the number 3 spot, Q2 Brad slipped to 5th place, a rethink was needed to try and improve the position so the team took a gamble with the dial in but we got it wrong and Brad slipped to 9th following a breakout. The team made some adjustments and in Q4 we improved slightly to seventh.

That was the end of Qualifying for Saturday so we were pleased with our improvement and looked forward to qualifying on Sunday.
Unfortunately we woke up to very light rain with just a few rain spots falling on the track but this was enough to stop us racing, this persisted until the early afternoon and the days session had to be curtailed and we would go straight into eliminations on Monday.

Monday we were woken  by heavy rain and with the forecast showing no improvement until mid afternoon the meeting unfortunately was abandoned.

This meant that Brads position as the Championship leader could not be beaten so Brad is the APIRA Super Pro Champion for 2015 !

We’ll done to Brad and everyone involved with the team and a massive thank you to all our sponsors and supporters !
